  NEW SANCTION PROCEDURES

Trip sanctions are now to be approved by the Club's Webmaster following the requirements posted below.  A $10 fee per trip for posting is due upon approval.

To request and expedite sanctioning of a trip, please send a check to the treasurer for the appropriate amount as indicated above, and send the required information specified below via e-mail to: the Webmaster

In order for your trip to be considered for sanctioning you must provide the following information; incomplete information will result in your request being denied and your fee refunded.

  • Club Name
  • Trip Destination
  • Trip Date(s)
  • Trip Leader contact information
  • Trip Leader Qualifications (what has this trip leader successfully completed for your club)
  • Authorizing person from your club, including Title/Position
  • A link to the Trip's Detail/Flyer Webpage.  This link is necessary and requires that such a page be prepared and posted on your Club's website. Club Express users, please be aware of the URL link "Expiry Date" which will render your link in the BRSC website to expire. In this case, it is best to provide a .pdf file

    Please be aware that trips sanctioning is not automatic.  Sanction requests are reviewed one at a time and all data is verified.

    If there are any discrepancies or if the trip leader is not qualified (based upon the judgment of the Executive Board of BRSC) the trip sanction request will be denied and the trip sanction fee will be refunded.

    This policy protects Your Club and Your Participants.

    The BRSC website is now reached by over 100 visitors a day.  This is a great way to promote a trip that might otherwise not fill.  It is also a great way to introduce prospective members to your club and your trips.

    Thank you for your cooperation and patience; we will try to approve and post all sanctions within 10 days of receipt unless you are advised otherwise.
